Good luck charm? A Chiefs flag is buried below Super Bowl host Allegiant Stadium in Vegas

The Kansas City Chiefs could be getting a small boost of mojo from an unexpected source when they play the San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for Super Bowl 58.
In 2017, during the construction of the new stadium in Las Vegas, a Chiefs fan at the site buried a flag where he expected the 50-yard line of the stadium would be, according to reporting from the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Kansas City fan Chris Scherzer posted a photo of his friend holding the flag to Facebook at the time, with the caption, "Flag buried in dirt, encased in concrete, with a stadium built on top of it... Chiefs 1, Raiders 0."
This year, the Super Bowl will take place at Allegiant Stadium – presumably right on top of where the flag has been buried – and the Chiefs are playing in it. Time will tell whether or how much the good luck charm will help Kansas City when they take on the 49ers in Super Bowl 58.
