The stars of "Full House" still have a hand to hold onto.
On Friday, John Stamos honored Bob Saget on what would have been his late co-star's 68th birthday by sharing a reunion photo of the "Full House" cast.
The picture showed Stamos, Dave Coulier, Jodie Sweetin, Candace Cameron Bure, Scott Weinger, Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen gathered around a Dumbo statue. It was a rare photo of the "Full House" actors that included the Olsen twins, who did not return to star in the Netflix reboot "Fuller House."
"This was taken as we gathered for (Saget's) funeral," Stamos wrote. "Though Bob wasn't there physically, his spirit was unmistakably present, wrapping us in warmth and shared memories that drew both laughter and tears."
The comedian was found dead in a Florida hotel room on Jan. 9, 2022, and his cause of death was determined to be head trauma. A private funeral service was held that month.

"Bob was the heart of our 'Full House' family," Stamos said on Instagram. "His legacy of kindness and compassion was evident in the faces around me, (on Dumbo) in the gentle ways we supported one another, echoing the love he always extended. We celebrated a life that was a true gift to us all."
In the Instagram comments, Sweetin remembered that "this time together was so special" but "painful," adding, "We all really came together exactly like he would’ve wanted." She marked Saget's birthday with her own post sharing throwback photos of the cast. "There’s not a day I don’t think of you," the actress, who played Stephanie Tanner, wrote.

Saget's widow, Kelly Rizzo, also marked the occasion with an old video of Saget celebrating his birthday.
"Forever celebrated, forever loved, forever remembered, forever in all of our hearts," Rizzo wrote. "Happy Birthday. Forever grateful for these memories, and this last birthday celebration together. Forever happy I got to see a smile on his face and happiness in his eyes."

Earlier this year, Stamos, Coulier, Sweetin, Bure and Andrea Barber, who played Kimmy Gibbler on the sitcom, gathered virtually for a discussion about Saget's legacy on the two-year anniversary of his death.
"It almost gets weirder as time goes on, because I'm like, 'Wow, it's been a long time since I've heard from Bob,' " Barber said at the time. "And then I'm like, 'Oh.' You know? It's so weird to have gone two years without getting a crazy long text from him or a neurotic phone call."
